Stem Cell Treatment Tijuana

A way to support the body with its own tools: the cellular level.

What is Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy?

Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy is an advanced regenerative treatment that uses your body’s own biological components to repair damaged tissues, reduce inflammation, and restore function. Mesenchymal stem cells are special cells with the ability to transform into bone, cartilage, and muscle; research is ongoing to determine whether they can develop into other types of tissue, making them a therapeutic option with great potential.

At Medisync Center, we use MSC therapy as part of an integrative approach to treat orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, degenerative conditions, and other diseases—always following a preliminary medical evaluation and focusing on the patient’s specific medical needs.

Conditions it may help with:

– Sports Injuries

– Tendon and Ligament Injuries

– Osteoarthritis (knee, hip, shoulder)

– Cartilage damage

– Post-surgical recovery

– Herniated discs and spinal degeneration

– Chronic joint or muscle pain

– Certain autoimmune or inflammatory disorders

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYINGTESTIMONIALS

Cómo funciona

Mesenchymal stem cells are obtained from placental tissue under strict control and in compliance with international and national standards. Once prepared in the laboratory, these cells are administered through various methods, depending on the personalized protocol established beforehand. The goal is to:

  • Reduce inflammation
  • Modulate the immune response
  • Promote the regeneration of damaged tissues
  • Improve blood flow and oxygenation

The outcome will depend on each clinical case and may vary from patient to patient.

What to Expect

– We conduct a detailed evaluation of your case. During this phase, we gather all your medical information, and you may be asked to undergo additional tests if the doctor deems them necessary to develop a personalized treatment plan, thereby increasing the chances of success for your treatment.

– Intra-articular injection (directly into the joints)

– Intravenous (IV) administration for systemic effects

– Intramuscular injections or injections into localized tissues

– In some cases, CMMs can be used in combination with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or ozone therapy to improve results.

– Intravaginal

– Limb pouch

– The procedure is usually performed at our outpatient center.

– Most injections take between 30 and 60 minutes.

– You will be positioned comfortably, and the procedure is performed under sterile conditions. Local anesthesia may be used for your comfort.

Most patients go home the same day.

– It is normal to experience slight swelling or pain at the injection site.

– Avoid strenuous physical activity for 48–72 hours.

– Our team will provide you with specific instructions for recovery and follow-up care.

Other FAQs About Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapies

  1. 1
Is it safe, are there any risks?

In general, MSC therapy is considered safe, especially when using the patient’s own (autologous) cells. All donor-derived cells are thoroughly screened and processed in certified laboratories.

The risks are minimal, but may include:

    • Mild swelling or discomfort at the injection sites.
    • Temporary inflammation as part of the healing process.
    • Infection (very rare and minimized through sterile technique).
  2. 2
Are there any common side effects?
    • Temporary pain or tightness in the treated area
    • Mild fatigue
    • Occasional low-grade fever (a sign of immune activation)
    • Most side effects are short-lived and resolve on their own.
  3. 3
    Does it hurt?
    • Discomfort is minimal.
    • When necessary, local anesthesia or anesthetic agents are used.
    • Most patients say the experience is very tolerable.
  4. 4
    When will I expect results?
    • Some patients notice improvements within a few days or weeks.
    • Cell regeneration (tissue, cartilage, bone, etc.) may take several months to take effect.
    • Results vary depending on the severity of the condition and the individual’s response.
  5. 5
Can I combine it with other treatments?

Of course. Mesenchymal stem cell therapy is often more effective when combined with:

    • Physical rehabilitation
    • PRP (platelet-rich plasma)
    • Ozone therapy
    • Nutritional support and anti-inflammatory protocols
  6. 6
    Do stem cells regenerate cartilage?

They may promote cartilage repair and slow down degeneration, but results vary.

  7. 7
    Is there an age limit?

No, in theory, the older the patient, the greater the need for treatment, but we evaluate each patient individually to determine their diagnosis and actual needs.

  8. 8
    Is this therapy approved?

In many countries, including Mexico, MSC therapy is legally offered under specific clinical protocols. We follow all applicable guidelines for safe and ethical use.
